UNISON runs a comprehensive training programme for activists and members, plus a member development programme via UNISON's Open College which includes the Learning at Work courses aimed at non traditional learners.

On your regional activist programme, talk to your branch education co-ordinator or Regional Education Officer. Their names and details are listed on the Website under Learning and Organising in Get Active.
If you're interested in getting back into learning but not sure where to start, talk to your branch lifelong learning adviser or union learning rep, or branch education co-ordinator.

Talk to your branch education co-ordinator and find out about training courses relevant to you, or look at your Regional website for information about training
If you are interested in encouraging more about learning in the branch, and would be interested in training as a lifelong learning adviser, talk to your education co-ordinator and to your Regional Education Officer

Staff

Find out what learning and organising services and the Regional Education Officer do - see the website and the intranet - and how the learning agenda fits with your area of work.
If you are based at Mabledon Place, call into LAOS in the 8th floor and Open College on the 9th floor.
If you are based in the regional office, talk to your Regional Education Officer or Lifelong Learning Fieldworker and find out what are their top 3 priorities
