UNISON Branch and workplace

How is a branch organised?

Branches have a branch committee which is made up of elected officers and workplace stewards. Officers will be elected at an annual general meeting (AGM). Depending on the size of the branch there will be other committees to cover different workplaces or employers. Also depending on the size of the branch they may have paid staff.
